A/N Sorry I know this took a while but I kind of ran into writer's block for a while there,
Percy's point of view
My plan was straightforward enough but whether it would work was still yet to be seen. Once I was sure that no demigods were out where they could get hurt I took on my true form. That was the first step in my plan, a few monsters and macahi who happened to be looking in my direction at the time were disintegrated when they saw me transform, but obviously I didn't care about that since they would have eventually been killed anyway.
The next step would be the hard part, I summoned the staff of Cronos to my hand in hopes that it might prevent me from completely draining myself. Once that was done summoned all my strength and attempted to slow down Nyx as much as l could, trying not to completely drain myself in the process. She was definitely powerful and it took a lot of my strength to slow her down since she was constantly fighting against my power.
Not only that but although I hadn't tried to attack her with riptide my guard was still up since although Hemara and Aether were still fighting her she could still end my control over time if she just tried to attack me rather than them. I was hoping that Hemara and Aether would manage to finish her off while she was slowed down before I was completely tired out.
She was too powerful for me to freeze her completely so I wasn't entirely surprised when she attempted to attack me. While trying to maintain my control over time I managed to raise riptide and blocked her attack but I knew I was weakening and if Nyx wasn't defeated soon I would either have to return time to normal or maintain my control over it for as long as I could until I either ended up in the same state I'd been in not too long ago or worse.
I could feel myself growing more tired by the minute but finally, when I began to think that I was going to pass out Aether finally got the better of Nyx and made the fatal blow. Once Nyx was gone I could see in his and Hemara's faces that they wished this could have ended differently but I knew that there was no way they could have changed Nyx's mind and made her see that what she was doing was wrong. Despite how tired I was I knew that there were still battles going on and my help would be needed.
It wasn't long before the other gods had finished off the rest of our enemies and it was once again safe for the campers to come out of the cabins. I was trying to decide who to help next when I noticed Amber coming toward me. We hadn't really gotten a chance to talk since before my fall and based on her expression she wasn't exactly pleased with me and I guessed that it was probably due to the plan I had just used to help defeat Nyx.
"What were you thinking?" she asked, sounding annoyed. I guessed that she'd figured out what I had been doing and knew that it could have been suicide. Despite her obvious annoyance I stayed calm and said, "I know that plan was risky but I couldn't see any other options, we can argue about this later the battles aren't over yet,"
She replied, "Fine, but you should stay here or go to Olympus, you look like you could pass out at any moment,"
I replied, "No I can't I 'm the king of the gods I have to keep fighting, but I'll be careful,"
She eventually gave in despite her reluctance and I suggested that most of the other gods should help Camp Jupiter since I could tell that the situation there still wasn't good. Just before we were going to go our separate ways Hades, Persephone, and Chaos returned, apparently having won the battle for the underworld.
I wasn't that surprised considering how powerful Chaos is. After they got back we all talked for a minute discussing who was going to help where, and then we went our separate ways. Most of the others went to help at camp Jupiter but Amber, Chaos and I went to help my dad since I knew that he would probably need it considering what he was up against. Sure I knew that Thalessa was already there but so were Pontus and Hydros as well as Thaumas who was a sea god that dad had defeated ages ago, but it had been so long since then that the other gods thought he might have faded by now. Apparently, he hadn't, and now he was helping Pontus and Hydros as they tried to retake control of the sea from Dad.
