i got to hug you for the first time today.

but it wasn't how i imagined i would get to for the first time.

instead of my wonderful and pleasant imagination to come into reality, time had something else planned.

you were crying.
in my arms.

i don't know why, but i just want to protect you even more now.

'why are you making me feel like this when you probably will never feel the same?

is it too much to ease the pain instead of increasing it?
