The girl

There she was standing under the shade of a tree with her friends, I know right she was standing with her friends so I shouldn't assume but I also know my cousins at least well enough to know when a girl causes their arguments and you could easily pick her out from her friends now don't get me wrong her friends are beautiful but then she was like a 9/10 while her friends were like 7/10 (oh yeah I know you expecting 10/10 yeah but no girl gets that with me you must have done something or have something that caught my attention).

She stood out from her friends but then I never really took much liking to girls it's not really my thing ( I ain't gay ooo) just don't like unnecessary wahala (trouble) which girls always are so I don't disturb myself.

So after the heated argument I finally separate them with decision to get her number and they'll both try their lucks and anyone that gets her wins. So I go over and collect her number not minding her friends or even her, probably thinking I was coming to woo her or was going to since I collected the number, sorry to bust their bubble no I wasn't, so I just left like I came.

Later that evening after packing my bags and ready for Lagos with my siblings since I was leaving in the morning, I sit on an old recliner chair outside the house enjoying the evening breeze with the view of my cousins trying to win the girl we had seen earlier on their phones, I was just smiling not long we were called to come and eat dinner, this night we were going to eat Fufu and egusi soup with Bush meat Uuuuhhhh

We finished eating and I retire to my phone to check for messages before I call it a night. I saw a message with strange number

"I like your style ooo trying to act like a bad boy abi weldone"
I reply the text and the conversation went like this
Me: sorry who is this

"Just heard from your cuz that you have gone back to lag and you didn't tell me that's not fair just Wen I tot we were becoming friends anyways have a safe trip a

I smiled when I read the text but was quickly disrupted when I heard "bega ojota " from a bus conductor telling me we have gotten to lag. I smile again because I remembered school starts on Monday.....
