Lost

Defeated

Serena remembered that she had left her Pokémon back to fight with Shauna, Ash, Clemont, korrina, Trevor and Tierno. And that Braixen was still at the Pokémon centre, probably healed and waiting for her by now.
She had rushed back, only to find out that Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, Korrina were gone to help the champions, Prof. Sycamore and Alain and Mairin, while Shauna, Trevor and Tierno had defeated the Team Flare goons.

She was glad, she met her friends and they ventured back to the Pokémon centre. She had been so relieved that her Pokémon and her human friends were safe and sound. When they reached the centre, just as Serena had assumed, Braixen was waiting cross-legged in her stretcher, nurse joy behind the counter, before the register.
"Braixen!' Serena rushed to Braixen, hugging the fire-type tightly. "Oh Braixen, I'm so sorry I couldn't help you much. I'm so glad you're alright."
"What do you mean, you couldn't help Braixen? You were amazing!' Exclaimed a familiar voice.
"Although, it was stupid." Said another voice.
"Aria! Miette!' Serena yelled. "I didn't see you here the first time."
"I'm hurt. I thought we were best friends," Miette joked. Serena rolled her eyes. "Anyways, I and Ariana... wait did you just call her Aria?'
"Uhhh, that's my, um, nickname for her." Realising that Ariana was disguised like the first day Serena met Ariana.
"Oh," Miette, luckily, believed her. "Then I'm guessing you know each other."
"Yeah."
"Guys, look!' Shauna suddenly called.
They all look at the big screen, Bonnie and Mairin were standing, with the infamous Blaziken Mask and his Blaziken right behind, in front of the giant rock. They seemed to be crying, and the giant rock looked angry, about to attack them. Serena knew the the Blaziken Mask could take care of it, but she just couldn't help but feel the urge to go help her friends.
She rushed out of the centre. "Let's go help Bonnie and Mairin , what are you guys waiting for?' Miette, Ariana, Shauna, Trevor and Tierno hot on her heels.

A WEEK LATER...

It had been a week since the attack, in the end, Serena found Bonnie and Mairin, but they were already safe, because of the Blaziken Mask and his amazing Blaziken.Also, Serena had gotten lost from the others, whom had ended up being rescued by team rocket and ended up helping team rocket make a video for all to see.
Steven, Prof. Sycamore, Ash, Alain and the champions were busy fighting, Clemont had joined in a bit late, with Serena, but Serena and clemont, too, fought alongside them. They defeated the rock, and in the four days prism tower had been rebuilt. Serena, Shauna and Jessilee and also performed a showcase before the tower, just a day ago. Serena had organised it, she had told everyone she had done it because everyone seemed in despair and need some fun and something so that they could regain hope, and keep hoping that things will get better again. Ash, Clemont, Bonnie, prof. Sycamore and especially Alain were keen and proud of the idea. She was proud too. But she had also lied.

The reason Serena did the showcase was because she love performing, and she was the one who really needed something to cheer her up, something like a showcase. But showcases wouldn't be held it until two months, which was why she held her own. Yes, she was scared of what had happened a week ago, but she was just devastated that Korrina had been able to take advantage of Ash's denseness. He was too dense to see how much Serena loved him, he couldn't see that Korrina only had a crush on him and since Korrina was his first girlfriend, and he was dense and too kind, he gave her a chance without hesitation, which she took as him 'loving' her back.

Serena was jealous, but she didn't think she could ever hate anyone, it'd be hard to make her hate someone, especially a person who was as optimistic and nice as Korrina. After all, not like Korrina knew how much Serena loved Ash, or that she had just stolen Serena's lifelong crush. Korrina didn't mean any harm, and so Serena didn't act any different towards her, but Serena was sad, though. Ash seemed concerned, so did Clemont, Korrina and Alain, too, but Mairin and Bonnie were the only ones who knew why she was sad, and were the ones putting more effort into helping cheer her up. Mairin was told by Miette that She liked Ash, She didn't know why Miette did that, but Mairin found out that Korrina and Ash started dating, and knew immediately That Serena was crushed. She was worried too, as soon as she knew.
Only a few days later, Serena decided Hoenn, the region where Pokémon contests were held and the region which Ash suggested she go next on her journey, was the perfect way to get over Ash, and find someone new. Also, because the contests seemed quite exciting.

But, little did Serena know, that wasn't the end of her adventure with ash, and that the danger wasn't over.
