As Serena boarded the plane, she saw Ash, Clemont, Korrina and Bonnie waving goodbye to her. Just a few moments ago, she was standing on the stairs, keeping tears in check. Memories blurred her mind. Like a fog, in couldn't think or honestly process anything else.

The day she first met Ash. At camp, when he made her fall so hard for him.

She promised herself she would return the handkerchief he had used to help her. She did.

All these adventures she had with all three of them.

How Bonnie understood how she felt most. How Bonnie helped her at her mentally worst states.

Clemont made her laugh every time.

But none of them gave up.

They made mistakes, but they fixed them.

They didn't have these demons in their mind. They were optimistic, they were bright, they were so ready to do everything.

They didn't run away.

So, why did she?
Why did she restrict herself?

Why did she have so many limits?

Why did the cloudless sky seem so far away?

'Because, you had yet to see real misery,'

Darkness fell upon Serena. As she closed her eyes, she wondered who had replied her little insecurities fest, in her mind.
