*Flashback to earlier in the afternoon.*

Paige and Paris are standing on a makeshift stage in a reception hall as fans and children walk up to talk, take pictures, and get autographs.

Paige is giving some advice to a little girl when she sees a security guard whisper something to another guard in the corner of her eye.

Then the two guards run out into the front.

"Paris, can you stay here for a second? I have to check on something," she says before following the guards outside.

She hears shouting and sees the guards fighting off people carrying signs, one reading "Wacko Jacko Wife" with a big red X over it.

One of the guards runs up to Paige and says, "Mrs. Jackson, you're going to have to go back inside for your safety."

Paige demands, "What's going on here?"

The guard replies, "It's just some protesters acting crazy."

Mad, Paige says, "Protesting what? My husband, my marriage?"

Then there's a loud bang and the guard grabs Paige yelling, "Get Paris, we have to leave. Now!"

Paige runs up to the stage to Paris, "Come on, we have to go."

She then says to everyone, "I'm sorry but we have to end early. We will reschedule and I'm sorry for the inconvenience."

The protesters start pushing through the doors and the guard grabs Paige and Paris saying, "Go out the back exit, every other exit's blocked."

They go out the exit and race down the stairs to the parking garage.

The guard gets into a separate car and Paige and Paris jump in theirs.

Paige's car follows the guard's as they drive out on the street.

"What was all that about?" Paris asks.

Paige replies, "I'm not sure. They're weren't fans of our family, though, that's for sure."

As they're driving, a black SUV pulls in front of their car.

"What are they doing?" Paige asks as she spots another one coming from the left side of the road in the opposite direction.

The one in front suddenly stops and Paige has to slam on the brakes as she sees the one on the left speeding up.

Paige yells, "Shit! Paris!"

She blocks Paris with her arm as she swerves the car to the right just as the SUV crashes into the driver's side of the car.
