THE next day at school, I was walking through the hallway when Scott stopped me.
"Four's not enough for Derek. I know he needs at least five. So who's next?" Scott asked
I scoffed.
"Why does there have to be a next when we've already got you?" I asked
"Who's next?" Scott asked
"You know I never understood how you suddenly got so good at lacrosse and all of the sudden you became popular. Now I know and it feels great." I said
I stepped closer to him and he stepped back.
"I don't care." Scott said
I ignored him.
"I mean everything is heightened. Emotions, touch. Everything is perfect now." I said
"Alexa." Scott said
I dragged my red nail down Scott's cheek, and smiled when he jerked away.
"What about your mom?" Scott asked
He struck a nerve in me and I slammed him against a locker.
"You know nothing about me." I spat
"I could hear you talk to Erica about it. I didn't see you any differently." Scott said
