I was at the old Hale house with Derek. We were going through some old books trying to find any information we can on the Kanima and how to stop it. I heard footsteps and ignored them as I continued reading.
"Wow, Lexie is reading. That's something I never thought I would see." Aaron said
"Shut up." I said
Aaron grabbed a book and began reading. I looked up from my book and saw Erica and Boyd entering the house.
"You decided. When?" Derek asked
"Tonight." Erica answered
"Everyone's gonna be at the game. We figured it was the best time." Boyd said
"Erica, is this true?" I asked
"It's not like we want to." Erica said
"What do you want?" Derek asked
Derek walked closer to the two.
"Since I just turned 16 a month ago, I wouldn't mind getting my license. I can't do that if I'm dead, you know." Erica said
"Well, I told you there was a price." Derek said
"Yeah, but you didn't say it would be like this." Boyd said
