You see the thing is, Bucky hasn't been out of the house for a full two weeks. Who that fuck does that? Bucky apparently, I mean I guess you can't blame the guy, for you know, being an ex-assassin running from the scariest people in the world who are pretty much everywhere, right? Long story short I'm gonna drag him out of my boring apartment and show him around manhattan! By showing him around I mean taking him out to buy groceries, and taking him to the park and docks so he doesn't freak out to much.TimeSkip
It was the middle of spring; the flowers were blooming it was all pretty and rainy, to say the least spring was one of the best seasons there ever was! Next to fall at least.
Today was one of the best days this time of year; it wasn't hot but it certainly wasn't cold by any means, it was warm with a light breeze and a little sprinkle of rain here and there but nothing that would soak you wet. Not that many people were out in the late morning of Wednesday, most were at work or school, so it was by far the perfect time to drag Bucky's ass outside.
Putting on a pair of high waisted ripped jeans, grabbing a grey cotton crop top and adding a black Calvin Klein hoodie on top of it, she grabbed her white high top converse and walked quickly out of her room with her black leather backpack that had the rest of her necessities in it. Knocking on Bucky's door alerting him that it was time to go, hopping around and trying to put her shoes on so they could get to Chick-Fil-A before breakfast ended at 10:30, and currently it was 10:15.
"Bucky! Hurry your ass up, will yah?" She called out to the browned haired man.
"Geez I'm coming quit your whining!" He called back obviously irritated.
Bucky stepped out of his room in dark jeans, combat boots, a navy blue cap, and a black hoodie.
To say the least, the man looked damn good.
Shaking the odd thought out of her head she grabbed her car keys and motioned for him to follow her out.
He stuck out his bottom lip, pouting as much as he could before getting a bad look from her and quickly walking outside with his head down.
There legs moved in synch as they walked to her matte black Mercedes G Wagon.
"Nice car" Bucky muttered staring at the vehicle in awe.
Freya grinned "I know right, I bought it a few years backs."
"Seriously a few years ago? The thing looks brand fucking new!" Bucky exclaimed staring the car down.
Freya only laughed at the expressions that were crossing his face, and mumbled a 'thank you' with a smile.
Hooking her Spotify up with the car she turned on Wayward son by Kanas and sung to it quietly as she drove through the bustling city.
Bucky stared through the window looking at the bright beautiful building he had only seen through her apartment window. He looked like a little kid on christmas finally getting the toy he'd been wanting for ever.
"Its pretty isn't it?" She said looking at the tall buildings as she stopped at a red light. He only nodded still staring at it in awe.
"All the lights, and the everything blooming now, I honestly can't get enough of it." Freya said calmly, mesmerized by the beauty itself.
"From the small things I remember, it's changed a lot." Bucky said more clearly now looking at her.
"Well it sure as hell isn't Brooklyn, or the 1940s is it!" Freya said grinning at him and continuing to drive as the light turned green.
