You are the spider keeper, and was asked to bring a spider to Tom's interview.

You put the spider on the table. Tom looked at you with wide eyes impressed that you dared to do that.
He talked to you for a moment until he saw that the spider wasn't on the table anymore.
"Uh... {your name}," you looked up. "The spider is gone." He looked kinda afraid.
"Don't worry," you grabbed the spider, who was just starting his way down. "Do you wanna hold him?"
Tom stood there unsure. He didn't want to be a scaredy cat, and make a bad impression on you. So he just nodded.
He was frozen while he was holding the spider. Once the interview was done you grabbed the spider and left behind your number.
Tom turned to Jacob. "I am never doing that again to impress someone."
Jacob glanced down and saw your number. "But it did work."
