hanahaki - part 1.

LANCE'S POV

"nnngh.."
BEEP
i squint my eyes, punching my alarm clock.

"jesus, i'm up. calm down." i mumble lazily. i slowly get up and get a start on the day.

after im ready, i head out of my room into the kitchen area. there, i see the rest of my teammates having a nice breakfast and talking calmly. i inhale sharply, before exiting the hallway. i smile.

"hey guys!"
they all turn their heads to me. i stand there awkwardly while they all look at me with an obvious lack of patience.

"shut up. we're too tired to deal with you right now." keith groans at me.

okay, ouch. no, no- it's fine. i brush it off and go to make myself whatever counted as breakfast.

after the painful breakfast, i head back into my quarters and flop down onto my bed.

i stare up to the ceiling, wondering what i did to make myself so disliked. they would never treat pidge the way they treat me.

midway through my drifting thoughts, i start coughing. wheezing, i quickly sit up. 'what's wrong? i don't think i'm sick, am i?"
