"taehyung,"

taehyung looked up and saw yoongi signalling for him to go inside.

seokjin gives taehyung a sad smile and a nod. "go and see him taehyung. i'm sure he wants to see you."

taehyung slowly stood up and made his way towards the room where the love of his life is.

it has been a week since the doctor said that jungkook is in a coma. and this'll be taehyung's first visit.

these past few days, taehyung couldn't bring himself to visit jungkook. he wasn't eating well too.

the staffs of the hospital made him wear some mask, hair cover, etc. before he goes in.

as soon as taehyung stepped inside, his heart breaks again when he saw jungkook lying on the bed.

there were cuts on his arms and face that taehyung couldn't handle to see.

it was silent. all he could hear was the sound of machines.

slowly, he walked towards the bed, standing on the side.

observing jungkook's sleeping face, taehyung teared up.

"k-kookie..." he stuttered, biting his lower lip in order to stop himself from crying. "i-i'm sorry. t-this is all m-my fault..."

"i wished i-i listened to y-you. i wished i d-didn't push you away. none of this would've h-happened..." taehyung broke into sobs. "i-i'm sorry for not v-visiting, k-kookie... b-but i'm here now."

taehyung carefully placed his hand on jungkook's. "i-i need you kookie... i n-need us..."

suddenly, jungkook's eyes slowly opened which shocked taehyung.

"k-kookie! y-you're awake! i'm going to call the doctor!"

taehyung turned but jungkook softly grabbed his arm, stopping him.

"h-hyung..." jungkook's voice sounded tired.

"kookie... i have to call the doctor..."

jungkook slowly shook his head. "i c-came back j-just to say goodbye..."

"w-what are you s-saying kookie?"

jungkook gave taehyung a tired smile. "i wanted t-to see you o-one last time... i love you t-taetae..."

"n-no, kookie—"

"it w-was nice to h-have you a-as my idol and my b-boyfriend..." jungkook whispered, his eyes starting to close.

the beeping starting to slow down.

"stay awake! please! i still need you! i love you!" taehyung cried out holding jungkook's hand tightly. "d-doctor! doctor!"

the line went flat as taehyung panicked.

as nurses and doctor came in, they let taehyung step back. 

daehyun came running in along with the others, jimin hugged the crying taehyung.

taehyung watched as the hospital staff tried to save jungkook.

and taehyung watched them shake their heads.

and in that moment, taehyung felt numb and empty.
