After the trip to New Orleans i've felt a little uneased with what i saw or at least who i think i saw. i decided to invite Honey to a local cafe just talk to her because i need to clear my mind. she walked in with her 6 inch red bottoms, gucci purse that look it was worth millions, a orange and white maxi dress, and orange sunglasses to match. i was wondering was she coming to talk or get her an oscar award?
"well damn bitch i didnt know marshalls sold purses" i joked as she sat across from me at the square table
"hoe shut up. all this is from my man" she smirked as she showed me a ring on her ring finger. i gasped surprised at the ring. it was beautiful!
"honey who-
"Leon. when you went out of town i met a guy name leon. he treats me like a queen.something i've always wanted to be treated like. The ring is just a promise ring and yes i know your gonna say something about trell. i think me and him are better off as friends...."
i starred at her as if she was a homeless woman off the street. i didnt know who this girl was. last time i checked she had feelings for trell but people change by the day so i cant blame her.
"hey, if he treats you right, who the fuck am i to stop you from liking him? im happy for you honey" there was a warm smile that appeared upon my lips as i said that because i meant it. im happy for her.
"thanks...now enough about me, tell me how was your trip!"
"well the trip was only for 2 days but we end up staying for 5 days. New Orleans is beautiful, i mean the scenary and just the environment.. it was great. i got up from the hotel and decided to go shopping however i didnt shop much"
"why??" she asked
"i saw someone... now i know ive told you about what happened when me and ty were in college." i said to her. i really hope honey remembered cause i didnt feel like explaining the story
"yea, about your friend kiara getting killed. you said some guy name william or something killed her, then kiara's brother or something killed him right?"
"yeah. his name is willie and he;s dangerous. he's alive..." i waited to see her reaction
"oh shit girl this is some first 48 type shit except this was years ago....damn!"
"honey im serious! come on i need help. what do i do?" i asked
"its not much you can do. like you said hes dangerous. you cant get into that again. leave it where its at"
"kiara's killer is out there somewhere out there enjoying life while shes 6 feet under. its not fair at all. her brothers in jail facing life in there for killing willie...but hes not even dead! hes alive. none of it is fair"
i didnt understand why certain people get second chances. like doesnt god know how terrible of a person willie is...i mean i know everything happens for a reason. but if its a reason, than what is it? im confused. kiara's dead and he's alive...thats all i can think about
"look ari. you have to let it go. things will happen according to how there suppose to. i know you want justice and want peace and fairness but you out of all people know life isnt fair. this world doesnt give anyone a fair life. willie is probably somewhere enjoying life whether you wanna believe it or not but your over here in misery while he somewhere probably partying. you just gotta move on ari. its best to just forget about it. you have kids, a man, a beautiful home and family so focus on that. everything will be alright"
