Honey (POV)
"Leon i told you i had a fashion show to go to, why you tripping?" i asked him. me and leon have been arguing all today. i told him i had a fashion show to go at 7 tonight but now he acting dumb like this is new to him
"naw yo ass staying right here in this house"
"why? ari invited me and im going. i dont give a fuck what you say!" i yelled
"fuck you. broke bitch!" he hollered with much anger
"im done!" i said walking toward the door
"you done with what???" he asked
"with your bullshit. bye leon" efore i could even take another step he punched me in my left eye. this only happened one other time before this and he promised to never do it again. "im leaving you leon" i grabbed my sunglasses on the table and left out. i drove to ari's place and hoped she was home.
i knocked on her door and she opened it. she yawned as if she just woke up
"hey girl, i wasnt expecting to see you until later tonight. come in.."
i walked into the kitchen and sat down. took off the sunglasses to reveal my black eye.
"OH MY GOD. wh-was this leon?????" she said loudly
"shhhh! be quiet..look we got into a heated argument and i left him. after telling him i was leaving he punched me and now i got this.." i said referring to my eye

"with what?" ty said coming into the kitchen "what yall talking---what the fuck happened to you honey?"
damn i thought. this is exactly what i didnt want to happen. ty is like my brother and he would kill anyone who lays a finger on me.
"ty please dont be mad...it was leon" i said hanging my head low
"how many times?" he questioned
"what?" i asked
"how many times has he hit you?"
"twice.... but i swear he means no harm!" i said deffending him. i dont even know why i was but i did it anyway
"no harm?" ari said "you gotta be fucking kidding me. he means EXACTLY harm! he is physically hurting. it doesnt matter if it was one time or 2.. one time is enough to show you he'll do it again, which he did..."
"you guys dont know him like i do...as a matter of fact forget i even came over here" i left without saying anything else

Ari (POV)
"Ty! we just gone let her leave like that? we dont know where shes going or whats gonna happen to her!" i said as she walked out
ty just sat there starring at the wall "its nothing we can do. this is a lesson she gotta learn on her own. and if you really wanted to help her you wouldnt have just yelled at her the way you did"
"im sorry its just when you see someone you love being hurt its hard to just sit there and say oh everything is gonna be ok. i dont know what you wanna call what i did..maybe i was showing her tough love but i just hate seeing her like that. Honey is like a sister to me and it kills me inside to see her so hurt"
"me too. and as much as i wanna fuck up leon...something is telling me to just let her figure this one out on her own. ive always been the big brother to her and helped her. its time for her to grow up and see things for what they really are." ty said. i dont know if i was shocked at the fact that he was being so calm or that he was actually sitting here and thought to not be violent about the situation

i walked over to ty and rest my chin on his shoulder "thanks for being the man you are"
he said nothing. he grabbed my hand, held it & smiled

Trell (POV)
After getting out the shower i didnt even feel like doing shit. i just sat there with my towel. i heard a knock on the door and thought to put some clothes on but fuck it, its my house.
"who the fuck at my damn doo- Honey?" a nigga was surprised
"trell...if this is a bad time i'll j-
"no no come on in" i guess she thought it was a bad time because i was basically naked and i answered the door rudely
"im the last person you wanna see." honey said as she sat on the couch
"not the last" i said sitting next to her. not to close just because...well that shit would be awkward especially because I'm naked "you can take those sunglasses off" i laughed "aint no sun in here"
"thanks" she chuckled "but no thanks. i'd rather keep em on."
"wassup tho? why you here.. i mean not to be rude but the last time we talked it really wa-
"yea i know" she said cutting me off "it wasnt good. and thats why i came here. just to make sure we were good....i never meant to hurt you or do you wrong, but i felt like i had to do something right for me."
"and i wasnt right for you?Honey i gave you everything! so what we didnt have a title? a title dont mean shit! its the love i had for you. these other niggas out here aint got you LIKE I DO BELIEVE THAT!"
"dont yell, thats the last thing i need right now!" honey said on the verge of tears. i wasnt sure if i should feel bad for her or not. i mean she walked out on me because i didnt make things official..i told her things and did so much for that girl. i never did so much for ANY girl.
"well shit like this gets me mad"
"well maybe i should leave" she said
"gone head & this time i air stopping you" i said not even looking at her "you good at doing that anyway" i added
"fuck you" she replied throwing a pillow at me "and fuck everything we ever had. your a piece of shit
"you leaving right? dont ask me no more fucking questions. matter of fact dont ask me for shit. cause thew next time he hurts dont come crying to me acting like you came over here to make things right.. honey im done with your bullshit." "And oh yeah" i added "i hope your done covering up for that so called nigga of yours! Yea i know... Those sunglasses may cover up the bruise but it wont cover up the hurt and pain he causes you to have" she was so shocked that i knew, and to be honest i only knew because honey doesn't wear sunglasses.
i saw her tears rushing down her cheek and damn...i'll always have a soft spot for her. but i wont be the thing she runs to when something isnt right. either im all hers, or nothing to her.
