Chapter 15

The bell rang dismissing us to lunch. I brought my own lunch today, so I walked towards my locker. As I was putting in my combination, I was hugged from behind. I quickly jumped, and turned around.

"Geez, Logan!" I shouted, a hand over my chest, "You nearly gave me a heart attack."

He started laughing. "I'm sorry Mia, I forgot you are so jumpy," he said as he came over to hug me. 

"It's fine," I said as I pecked him on the lips. He smiled and let me get my lunch from my locker.

As we started to the cafeteria, I heard a familiar voice shout from behind me. I turned around to see Mason, jogging towards us.

"Hi Mia, I haven't seen you all week," Mason said smirking. Logan put his hand around my waist.

"Hi," I say in return.

"I've heard about you and Logan got together. I knew you weren't a couple at lunch two weeks ago," Mason said as Logan's grip got stronger.

"Yeah, we are together now," Logan growled at him.

"Oh, but are you just dating, or do you have titles for each other?" Mason spat back.

"Titles?" I ask.

"Yeah, boyfriend or girlfriend titles?" Mason smirking, when Logan stayed silent. "Ha, that's what I thought. See you later Mia," Mason blew me a kiss, then walked out of the school.

I glanced up to see Logan look angry. It seemed as if he was having a battle in his mind. 

"Logan?" I ask, as I lightly tapped his arm.

He looked down at me, and dropped his arm around my waist, "Beautiful, I really wanted to make it special, but I don't want anyone else to have you." He said staring into my eyes.

"Logan," I start, but he cuts me off.

"No, these last two weeks have been amazing. I loved the numerous dates we went on. I really really like you Mia. I need to call you more than the beautiful girl I date. So, let's make it official. Will you be my girlfriend?" He looks at me with pleading eyes.

"Of course Logan!" I say as I give him a hug.

"Oh, thank god. How about going to lunch?" Logan says with his hand out.

"Lunch sounds like a fine idea." I said as I take his hand in mine.

"Hey everyone!" Logan says as we sit down at our table, "Guess what?"

"What?" Everyone said in sync.

"We are official!" Logan said excitedly.

"Woah! You got married?" Alex piped up.

"What? No! We are just officially boyfriend and girlfriend!" He shouted and and gave me a kiss. I love how excited he is. It makes me know how much he does actually like me.

"Oh cool," Everyone mumbled.

"Why aren't they excited for us?" Logan asked as his expression fell.

"We have been dating for 2 weeks, and going strong. I think they already thought we were boyfriend and girlfriend." I whispered back.

"Well people should not assume." He said grumpily.

"You are right, but don't take this moment to heart." I said as I kissed his cheek.

"Okay," he said as he smiled at me.

"So, since today is Friday, and our football season is over, why don't we all get together after school?" Joey suggested.

'Yeahs' and 'I'm frees' rang throughout the 7 of us.

"Great. You all can come on over sometime after 4 o'clock" Joey said. And with that the bell rang signaling the end of lunch.
