The Next Morning

Y/N POV
I opened my eyes to a ray of light shining in, I got up and started rubbing my face.
Me: oh that was miserable.
Pyrrha: what was Y/N?
Me: Pyrrha?!
She was holding her side, she was pretty beaten up from last night.
Pyrrha: did we win?
Me: I don't believe so Pyrrha....I'm sorry
Pyrrha: dang.....how are you feeling?
Me: relieved that you're ok, what about you?
Pyrrha: well I still feel some pain
Me: you went through a lot yesterday, hell you fought one of Salem's right hand members
Pyrrha: how many are there?
Me: there are four, but the Grimm supply is endless.
As we were talking I heard the sound of footsteps in the halls.
Me: sssh....
I slowly went to the ground and saw claws going across the floor outside the door.
Me *whisper*: it's Grimm
The toe started tapping.
Me: ok he knows we are here
I punched one of the barricades and the door flew open, hitting the Grimm with the tables.
Me: we leave now
I picked her up and ran out, she had her arms wrapped around my neck, Beowulves were growling at the end of the hall
Me: trust me with this
I tossed her up in the air, but with enough momentum to put her over the Grimm, me on the other hand slid underneath the Grimm and caught her right when I finished sliding. The roared as I ran out.
Pyrrha: Y/N!! Watch out
I looked behind me and saw the Grimm chasing.
Me: damn, I need to fly but I can't have your stitches come out, alright I have a plan.
I put her on my back and I quickly climbed a tree, I placed her on a sturdy branch then jumped down. The beowulves pounced but in one punch I sent them both flying. I hit the side of the tree fell, I caught her and continued running.
Ruby POV
I left the house, Jaune and everyone else was waiting outside while Yang and Dad slept.
Me: hey guys, any word from Pyrrha?
Jaune: nothing, last we saw her was when Y/N was flying through the sky.
Nora: I hope they're alright, they've become so cute together
Me: we'll see them soon, we have to head on though
Hours Later, Y/N POV
I put down Pyrrha against a fallen tree. I sat down to catch my breath.
Pyrrha: Y/N, you don't have to carry me
Me: I don't want those stitches to come out
Pyrrha:Y/N...I believe they are fine....let's walk, I mean it's a beautiful day....why waste it?
Me: you have a point there....alright, let's hydrate first.
I pulled out a canteen and lightly tossed it, she caught it and started drinking.
Pyrrha: it's days like these that bring back a lot about childhood
Me: in childhood we didn't have cracks on our wrist hehe
She smiled and got up to sit next to me
Pyrrha: want to go back again....
Me: you mean that wrist thing....will it even work?
Pyrrha: lets find out....together
Me: alright..
She held out her hand, I grabbed it and everything turned bright.
Ruby POV
Me: I'm thinking we go to Haven, but on our way there we can go into towns and villages, see if they need any help
Nora: then we can make money, buy some more armor and ammo and blow the SHIT out of things
Ren: calm down Nora, don't get carried away
Jaune: what about Y/N and Pyrrha, should we wait for them somewhere?
Me: I mean you're right, but Jaune, they could be there while we wait, it's best to keep moving
Jaune: alright
Y/N POV
I snapped out of it and went to my knees coughing, so was Pyrrha.
Me: lets not do that for a while *cough*
Pyrrha: sorry about that *cough*
Me: it's fine....oh god damn that actually turned my stomach....I mean it was nice but the after effects are worse than a saki hangover
