AN: Sorry for the delay, here's the next chapter. I realize that because I am putting too much detail, it is prolonging our MC to become a support, which is one of the point of the story. I try to shorten it with timeskip and flashbacks but it might confuse you readers. So here is a vital question: Do you want to [have a story narrating Iso's life before he became a support but it'll prolong the story from him becoming OP] or [have a shortened story before Iso become a support so that we could get to the point of the novel]. Please answer down below at the comments. Your answer will determine what I'll write at the next chapters

The sun was up and shining its hot rays at the fields below. Sweats trickled my face as I endure the high temperature. I am currently getting water from the well in the middle of the village. The faint splash of water was made when the bucket hit the bottom. I pulled the rope to get the bucket back, hopefully with some water.

I fished the bucket out, half full of water. 'Better than nothing' I thought as I carried the bucket back to my new home. This is my life as a villager.

My mind wandered back when Aimi defeated the demon and when I was still part of the team. After Aimi stabbed Kur'an at his heart, the demon writhe in agony as he slowly turned to ash. Many of us leveled up significantly after that battle, especially myself, considering that jobless class level up more.

We quickly made our escape out of the dungeon not wanting to encounter more enemies. Carrying the dead bodies of the knights and Eadwulf made their toll but we didn't want their bodies to rot there. We meet up with our fellow classmates at Eldham.

Despair dawn on the faces of our classmates as they saw the dead bodies that we were carrying. It only got worse when Aimi soon told them about our encounter with the demon lord. The knights that stayed in the village didn't took this news too well.

With this dark news, we returned back to the city we were summoned. When the church and the leaders of the kingdom heard about it, they made a decision to separate us to factions that aligned us to our jobs. They separated us so that if one hero dies, the other heroes are still alive. It is dangerous to keep us together, they reasoned.

It also compliments the growing jobs of others because of the significant level ups we got from the demon lord. Aimi is now a Knight at the level of 25. Being the lowest level person to be a knight. Usually, you must be level 60 or higher to be a fully-pledge knight but Aimi became one at level 25.

With her stats that could par with a demon lord (if she uses All Status Boost), she was assigned to the legendary Knights' Order. She became the youngest one to join the Order. Others were assigned to Magic Colleges if the kingdom for their aptitude in magic. While some quickly became adventurers themselves. They are separated but they have one goal in common, defeat the demon king.

That leaves me with the jobless class. Where would they assign me? But then I remembered that my level was well passed 40 already. That means I could now class change to a more suitable one. And as promised, I was guided to one of the Divine Stones that could make a person class change.

Due to the recent deaths and dangers, they have warned me that if I got a common job, a class that isn't suitable for fighting, they would strip me off my privilege as a hero. They already got enough casualties, they don't want a useless hero dragging them down. They won't give me another chance at level 60., I'll be on my own.

My hopes were high though so I agreed to it. I'm sure that I'll get a cool combat class. The class change work, as the explained, when you touch the Divine Stone. It'll ask the person what he wants but he has to describe it, to explain the concept.

Well, I did this and touch the stone. It asked:

What do you want

And I answered:

"To have many potentials"

It is granted

My status card shined and what was written now on my class is: Villager.

'Such useful luck I got here' I thought sarcastically at that time 'even though my Luck stat is higher than Aimi, I still didn't get what I want'

As they have warned, they quickly disposed of me. They sent me to one of the small villages at the edge of the city of Skydusk.

I went back to reality as I went back to the small Inn where I was staying. I do small jobs for them so that I could continue staying in the village. I wonder what will happen next? I thought I was a hero...

AN: For those of you who might ask. The Villager class having a huge potential is a reference to the game series of Fire Emblem. In it, the Villager could 'class up' to any class you want. It is a trainee class that affords little value apart from possessing much potential to grow into valuable assets of the player's army.
