I know I'm not a big fan of hers, but I just had to write this.
23 years ago today, an evil fan of hers murdered our beloved Queen of Tejano music, Selena Quintanilla-Perez. She left us very early at the age of 23.
Selena, personally, I don't listen to your songs, but my grief pours out as I do listen to your songs. You died at such a young age, and for me, murder just isn't right. You brought pride to the Hispanic world and you were on your way to universal stardom, but that was all cut short when that evil jerk Yolanda shot you down. I couldn't believe that someone as beautiful and talented as you are was dead in all of a sudden. You will always be an inspiration not just to the Hispanics, but also to the people worldwide. We love you, and we miss you, up to this very day.
