I'VE NEVER FELT SO TRIGGERED IN MY LIFE
Okay I respect both musicians, I respect Jeff and Luke as much as I respect Eddie and Alex but... WHAT
ARE YOU OUT OF YOU EFFIN MIND
Okay first off, Eddie and Luke are close friends. FRIGGIN CLOSE FRIENDS. And Eddie even admires Luke's playing, same as Luke admires Eddie's.
Second, Toto gave been session players long before they've been a band, so they're really versatile. And yes, Africa is not their only song. They played for many artists, such as Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, heck even Luke is in Ringo's band.
Third, we all know that Jeff Porcaro, their first drummer and probably their best, died of a heart attack. He also was one of the most recorded session players in history. So a tribute was made in honor of him. Many artists attended his funeral: Don Henley, David Crosby, Graham Nash and many others. And guess who also was there: right, EDDIE VAN HALEN.
In short, Toto was never, is never, and will never be, LAME.
