Then again, I was put in handcuffs by the same man who put me in them when I first got to jail. Tyrrell. He stared at me deeply in my eyes as I struggled to get away. "It's over." He said shaking his head.

I laughed and spit in his face. "You're one lucky guy. I almost put bullets through that head of yours." I smiled as he threw me in the back of a cop car.

He didn't respond. "Alright Ms. Harris.." Another officer said. "We're going to bring you back to the prison, until your court date." He said. I rolled my eyes as he spoke and everything else was a blur. He said something that made me pay attention again.

"Most likely, you'll get 50 years to life." He said. My eyes closed and tears began to fall from my eyes.

He started to drive back to the prison. "Do you have children?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I do." He nodded.

"Imagine never being able to have special moments with them, ever." I told the officer.

"I couldn't live that way." He replied.

"I'm sorry Ms. Harris, but there's no one to blame but yourself." He said pulling up to the jail. I knew all of this shit was my fault. The position I'm in right now, I never thought I would be here. But its too late now. I'm back here in jail, maybe serving life. I'm gonna die in here. I'm gonna die in here. I cried. I'm gonna die in here. I'm gonna die in here. I'm gonna die in here. I'm gonna die in here. I'm gonna die in here. I kept repeating it in my head until something woke me up.

"NYLA! NYLA GET UP !" Tyrrell screamed at me.

I woke up in a bed, in a home I didn't recognize. "Tyrrell?" I asked.

"Are you okay? You've been crying in your sleep for hours Nyla." He asked concerned.

"Are you serious?" I asked panicking and jumping out of my bed.

"Yes Nyla what's wrong?" He asked.

"You're a cop." I pointed. "You sent me to jail. Then I escaped jail, and you sent me back. You're a liar." I rambled on, and on about my dream and Tyrrell looked perplexed.

"Nyla what are you talking about?" He asked.

"I'm talking about you! You sent me up!" I continued panicking.

"Calm down, it was just a dream!" He called out.

I started to breathe and calm down more. "A dream?" I asked.

"Yes just a dream." He replied. "Come back to bed." He suggested.

I shook my head. "No." I grabbed a bag and started throwing clothes inside.

"Nyla where are you going?" He asked.

"Back home." I replied.

"Why? Did I do something wrong?" He asked.

"That dream...It must've meant something...a sign. A sign I should stay away from you." I argued.

"Please don't do this." He said grabbing my arm.

I exited his grasp and left. "Goodbye."

I drove to my father's house first.

"Nyla?" He asked.

"Daddy." I said hugging him tight.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Are you mad at me?" I asked.

"No, why would I be mad at my babygirl?" He questioned.

"Its a long story." I answered.

"I've got time." He shrugged.

"Come in, I'll make you some tea." He said letting me in.
