I gladly stepped out of the car. I saw (B/F/N) and hugged him/her. I heard him/her chuckle and said, "So...you texted me stating that you and (C/N) almost got into a car accident. Please explain."
"Well," I said. "(C/N) and I were headed to meet you when he didn't notice that there was a deer in the middle of the road."
(C/N) then covered his face with his hands in embarrassment.
"And then," I continued. "I screamed, '(C/N), deer!' And do you want to tell (B/F/N) what your reply was?"
(C/N) removed his hands from his face to reveal his blushing face. " 'Yes, honey?' "
