~Over-Reacting?~

I dated this guy for awhile,

Who I really liked a lot.

For a while I was in denial,

After he ended it and 'we' stopped.

Its been over six months since,

Seeing him with other girls.

Ugh it makes me wince,

Makes me want to hurl.

But it got worse,

Now my best-friend is chatting him up.

Not that I want to swear and curse,

Its just I thought friends didn't do that.

Anyway, that's not it.

I like someone new,

An old friendship from childhood, 

I told her hopping she'd understand,

Then she goes and adds his Instagram.

When made it clear not too.

I know I sound jealous,

And I'm probably over-reacting,

But I just wanted someone to myself.

And the thought that she might be behind my back,

Talking him up and having a good yack,

Makes me feel self-conscious.

I just wanted something away from school,

Something completely private,

And unrelated.
