CHARACTERS ARE
THE HEART OF THE STORY.

   If the reader has no care towards the characters,
they won't care what happens to
them and won't care if they get hurt or not.
Therefore they will loose interest
in the whole story.

MAKE YOUR CHARACTERS MEMORABLE, NOT PERFECT!

Part of what I look forward most
in a story are the characters.
Every reader wants to relate to
the characters in the story.

And most of what makes a character relatable are their flaws.

Us readers want characters with depth. We want the description of them (ex. 'A smart know it all
who helps save the world' ) only to be a scratch of their story.

We want to laugh, smile, cry, sob, and feel loved because of the characters.
