By listening to the language you will have a better understanding about how it's pronounced and what kind of dialects there are.
How do I do that?
You can listen to different songs in that language or even better, watch a movie or tv-series in that language and listen closely to the pronunciation of the words.
What if I don't understand anything?
You don't have to understand. The most important thing is that you listen to the language to get a better understanding of it.
