Summer break was finally here, and you were going absolutely nothing today.

Your phone vibrated on the table next to you.

From: Calum

Lazy day?

To: Calum

Haha I was just thinking the same thing

I'll be there in 10

You decided to make popcorn and other snacks. Once you were finished there was a knock at the door.

"Hey Addie! You look perfect today."

"Calum I'm just in some sweatpants and a t shirt," you blushed.

"You're still beautiful."

Calum hopped onto the couch and you brought the snacks. You guys decided on a scary movie.

You didn't want to admit that you could not stand movies like these.

"How about The Conjuring?" Calum offered.

"Ok..." you hesitated.

About 20 minutes into the movie it was bad enough. A creepy face appeared on the screen and you screamed.

The popcorn flew in the air and all over the floor.

Calum pulled you into his arms laughing, "You're scared of these movies aren't you?"

"Yeah. I was too embarrassed to tell you cause you were all excited about it."

"Well now that I know that, I will always be here to protect you from anything."

The movie continued on and Calum held you in his arms. If you got scared he would kiss you, and reassure you everything was fake.

After the movie was finished Calum turned on another movie.

You continued to watch movies for the rest of the day and have random conversations. Many included Calum making fun of your fear of scary movies.

It was getting late, and you were getting tired.

Calum pulled you closer to him and whispered, "I love you Addie."

"I love you too Cal."

You slowly fell asleep in Calum's arms.
