Chapter 5 Blackout

"Sofia is on a break away she shoots she scores a that's her first hatrick of the season. What a goal seven seconds left and she scored  top shelf hit the cross bar beautiful just beautiful! That's the end of a beautiful game ladies and Gentlemen next week the girls vs the ice hawks stay tuned!"
Announcers say enjoyably

"Great job girls!" "Nice goals Sofia!"  "Thanks Ella your first goal is what got us in the game And  Grace you kept us in the game with those beautiful saves! We all did really great guys!"

We all did really great for our first game but I wonder what Liam was doing here I didn't tell Sebastian but Liam came off as jerk who knows he could be a complete sweetheart. The guy I was talking about the one I like is Max. He was there with the rest of the guys also known as my brother's friends who is off limits just like how Rebecca is off limits for Sebastian.

"Oh hey Rebecca how do you think it went? Hello earth to Rebecca!"  I said

"Oh sorry Sofia I was um um I just got lost In my thoughts." She turned around confused

I wonder what she was thinking about she had a great game so it wasn't that. She looks so dazed I guess she will tell me when she is ready.

"So you ready to head back to the house we are hosting remember" I reminded

"Oh ya Seth will be there right" She asked

"Ya! We should get going you know before they eat all the food!" I said laughing

We got into my white Austin Martin Virage
I know what you're thinking but where I live this car is quite common me and my brother share it but it's mostly mine cause he usually uses Stephen's motorcycle. Who's Stephen you ask he is the oldest brother out of the 6 of us. He is in working now, he now lives in Boston and manages the Boston unit of the company. The second and third oldest are the first set of twins Sam and Sean who play NCAA  for Maine University.   After that the fourth one is Scott who play's NCAAA for Yale. Then  it's Sebastian  and me. My mom died when me and Seb were born, I don't like to talk about it much but hey I never knew her either. I saved the best for last there is my dad, someone that I admire and who I truly love, my hero cause he works like crazy to support his family he works so hard and now is the CEO of his company it's great, but he also is super dad he makes sure that I never feel like I don't have a mom he plays both roles perfectly. Anyways we're here but as I turn off the car I realize becca fell asleep.

"Rebecca wake up we're here." I said trying to hold in my laughter

"Uh I am up I am here what!" She mumbled half asleep

"We're here!" I repeated my self

"Oh ok then what are we waiting for the party is inside!" She exclaims

I walk in and scream  "We're home Seb where are you guys?"

"In the basements"  Charlie said

"We are coming down set up COD!"  I ordered

"Yes Mam" Seth responded

As got down everything went smooth my controller was awaiting me how I know it's mine it's white. NOBODY  touches my white controller unless I tell them to set it up but otherwise if you touch my controller be prepared to die!

I won and finished my battle up  then noticed, all the girls were here that meant everyone has arrived and with the corner of my eye I could see that Sebastian  was talking to Liam so I decided to walk up and find out was going on!

"What are you guys taking about?" I asked

"Oh nothing Liam over here was amazed by ou- no your basement!" Seb said

"Thank you Liam I really appreciate it!" Growing up with guys this is the one place that we all shared!" I replied 

"Cool!" He said nonchalantly

That's all I get! This guy never seems to surprise me

"Well nice to meet you..."

"Liam" he responded

I left to go talk to Seth, basically he's my guy best friend and I know what you are thinking but no he is not gay.

"So... what do you think?" As I approached him

"Your game was good but when you come back on your defence remember to look at the logo on the jersey as it will show you where they are going." He answered

He is the only one not afraid to give me feed back.  Because we have known each other since we were born.  Me, Seb, Rebecca, Seth, Charlie, Lela, Jeremy, Max, Aliyah, Jacob,Ava, Luke, Lily and Emma all grew up together! We are best  friends and me and Seb wouldn't ask for anybody else to be our best friends, but Seth and Rebecca have been like siblings to me and Seb we have just been very close since the beginning.

"Sofia hello! What were you thinking about?" Seth asked confused

"I was just thinking about the fact that I have the worlds best friends!" I said thinking out loud

As I said that I got a chorus of awwwwws from Lela, Seth,Jeremy, Charlie, Rebecca, Emma, Jacob, Seb, Max, Aliyah and Ava

"Wow guys I was trying to say something nice and you guys got all sentimental on me" I said as my cheeks  got redder

"We love you to!"  Emma said

"Sorry to interrupt the moment but Seb the power just went out! I am not sure if it was a black out or something else but I think someone should check it out!" Liam said with panic in is voice

I took charge of the situation as I always do " Seb, and Liam go check the box! Seth check the radio to see if it was a blackout or just a power surge! Lela, Charlie, Emma, Jeremy, Jacob, Ava, Max, Aliyah and Rebecca go look for all the candles, flashlights and sources of light! Everyone else stay where you are and don't move!" I rushed as it was important

"Sofia there are saying that it is a blackout province wide they are working on it could take a couple of hours and they said whatever you do try and stay in your houses!" Seth rambled

"Ok Seth go get Seb and Liam and tell them to get down stairs and explain it's a blackout!" I told him

The rest of them were back with sources of light which we spread out. Everyone was back and to kill time we decided to play a game of truth or dare cause why not.  Basically no one was home otherwise they would never had let this game happen! It was basically both my hockey team and my brother's so: me, Lela, Seth,Jeremy, Charlie, Rebecca, Emma, Jacob, Seb, Ava, Luke, Lily, Liam, Ella, Grace, Dante, Brayden, Aliyah, John, Isaiah, Eli, Adrianna, Julian, Cameron, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Max, Dylan, Peyton, Ryan and Avery

There was a lot of people so the possibilities were endless and there was seventeen both girls and guys so we sat girl boy and the game began... let's just say it's not your average game!
