LiAngelo and I decided to eat at Jack in The Box.

We walk up to the cashier and I tell the lady what I want to eat.

She types in my order and I reach for my wallet. LiAngelo stops me.

"I offered you to come and get some food, so I'll pay for it." He says taking out his wallet and pulling out a twenty dollar bill.

I glance at him and then I look away. "Thanks,"

"No problem." LiAngelo replies.

We walk over to a table and we make small talk.

I get to know LiAngelo better and he does the same.

"So, what's your favorite color?" LiAngelo asked.

"I like every type of blue and black, how about you?" I asked.

"I like every color. Don't really have a favorite."

I just nod in response eating a fry.

LiAngelo reaches for a fry and I don't smack his hand away because he paid for my food.

I laugh to myself.

"What?" LiAngelo asked.

"I'm surprised you didn't ask me the famous question that every guy asks."

"Which is?"

"Are you a virgin." I laugh and so does LiAngelo.

"That's what little teenaged boys ask. I'm a grown man," LiAngelo smirks, "But since we're on the topic, are you?"

"Duh," I reply.

"Me too,"

I scoff. "Yeah right!"

"I'm serious. I don't know why people think I'm not."

"Mabey because your you," I say to him, "I mean, look at you, your hot!"

LiAngelo smiles and he looks at me. "Oh, so you think I'm hot now?" He questioned.

I shake my head no.

"You said it, so you think I'm hot!"

"Whatever," I get up and I throw away my trash.

"Are we going to walk back to the school?" I asked walking back to the table.

LiAngelo looks at his watch. "Yeah, we should probably get going, but walk slow so we don't get there to early."

We walk back to the school and we wait for my mom to pick us up.

While we are in the car, my mom looks at LiAngelo and LaMelo in the backseat.

"So, a little bird told me you left my daughter all day today. What happened to showing her around?" My mom asked.

"It's LaMelo's fault!" LiAngelo says.

"How?" My mom asked.

"He was supposed to show her around today!" LiAngelo replies.

"No, we agreed that I would show her around tomorrow!" LaMelo says.

"No, we didn't, you just don't listen!" LiAngelo says to LaMelo.

I laugh at them.

"Excuses excuses!" My mom says shaking her head.

"I promise I'll stay with her all day tomorrow!" LaMelo says.

The next day at school was a little bit better than my first day of school.

LaMelo stayed with me during most of the day and he walks me to all of my classes.

During sixth period, me and LiAngelo ditch again.

"Do you ditch everyday?" I asked LiAngelo.

He shakes his head no. "Everyday except on Wednesday because it's minimum day on Wednesday, and I don't walk on days I don't feel like walking."

I hum in response nodding my head slowly.

"This time, I'm paying for the food!" I say to him.

"You can try, but I'm not letting you." LiAngelo says.

After we go to Jack In The Box LiAngelo and I walk back to the school.

My mom picks us up again and we make it home.

"Tina is going to pick you up from school tomorrow cause I'm working late. She said you could stay at her house until I got home if you wanted."

I nod my head in response. "I'll be at the Ball families house then."

I walk inside of the house and I work on my homework.
