After LiAngelo and I eat at Jack in the Box, we walk back to school.

My mom is already there.

We walk to the car and she looks me up and down.

"What?" I asked her.

"Your PE teacher called me today and she told me that you do not do to her class at all." My mom answers.

I look at LiAngelo.

"Don't look at him, look at me. You can't blame him for your actions Joslyn-"

"-Actually, Mrs.Jones, Joslyn was only ditching because of me. I talked her into it, if your gonna be mad at someone don't be mad at her, be mad at me!"

My mom looks at LiAngelo and she smiles at him. "Just get in the car, we'll talk later!"

LiAngelo and I walk towards the car and we get inside.

LaMelo looks at me like he wants to say something.

"Yes Melo?" I asked him.

"Can you help me with my homework?" He asked.

"What subject?" I asked him.

"Language Arts, you said you were good at that right?"

I nod my head yes.

"Of course she will help you," my mom answers for me, "Anytime you need her help, she will help you because she's a good friend!"

I look at my mom shaking my head.

I know what she's trying to do, she's not slick.

She's so weird! She wants me to like LaMelo.

Once I get home I walk across the street to the Ball's house.

LaMelo unpacks his homework and we start to work on his homework.

Gelo and Lonzo are being too loud and I can't concentrate.

"You wanna go somewhere else?" I asked.

"Why?" Melo asked.

"I can't help you with them being so loud."

Me and Melo get ready to go to his room.

"Oh, Melo finally got a girl to go to his room!" Lonzo says.

LaMelo flicks them off.

I go up to LaMelo's room with him because his brothers are being too loud.

We start to study for a vocabulary test we have next week.

Three months later and I'm studying for a test with LaMelo again.

Well this is me and LaMelo's thing, we study together almost every other day.
