When I wake up the next day, Lonzo is gone.

I look at my phone and I see that it's only five thirty.

I usually wake up at six.

I try to fall asleep but I can't.

I go on my phone and I look at my notifications.

I see a message from Lonzo, it says 'I went back home, thanks for the talk. ❤'.

I reply to his text saying 'No problem, anytime ❤❤'.

After I text Lonzo I pick an outfit for school.

I also pack my basketball bag for practice after school.

After I'm dressed, I make myself a cheese toast sandwich.

My phone vibrates and I look at it.

A new text from Lonzo which says I'll take you to school today if your early'

I don't reply.

I eat my cheese toast and I say goodbye to my mom.

"Bye sweetie," my mom says, "Are you gonna be at Tina's studying with Melo?"

I reply with a simple yes and I walk to the Ball residence.

During second periods passing period LaMelo walks up to me.

"How was the math test? Were the questions like the one's you helped me with?" I asked him.

"Yeah, it was easy. After school, I need your help making this mini movie thing with me. Do you mind being in it?" LaMelo asked.

"No, I do not mind at all," I smile at him.

I walk to my math class and I see Zuri on the way.

Of course she give me a dirty look and I look at her dirty too.

I keep walking with my attention on her.

I bump into someone as I walk and I quickly apologize.

"Your fine!" They reply, "Oh, Joslyn, hey!"

I look up to see my new teammate,  Giselle.

"Hey, Giselle." I smile at her.

"What's your class right now?" She asked.

"Math with Mrs.Flores, what about you?" I asked her.

Giselle laughs then she says we have the same class.

We walk to class together and we go to our assigned seats.

She sits all the way on the other side of the classroom, no wonder I haven't seen her before.

After school, I go home and I change to more comfortable clothes, then I walk back to the Ball's house.

I knock on the door and Lonzo answers.

Lonzo looks at me and he turns a bit red. "Oh, hey."

I smile at him fiddling with my fingers. "Hey Zo,"

"About last night-" he starts to say.

LaMelo interrupts him by yelling 'Is that Joslyn' down the stairs.

Lonzo replies yelling 'yes' back.

"We'll talk about it later," I walk towards LaMelo's room and we start to study and work on his film.

We are getting towards a scene were the two people kiss but I stop LaMelo.

"Why do we have to kiss for your film?" I asked him.

"My teacher said make it romantic, that's the only romantic thing I can think of..." He replies.

"Okay, I guess." I say to him. "Do I like pull away after a few seconds?"

Melo lets out a small laugh. "Yes,"

We do the scene for the movie thingy and my character is helping LaMelo's character with homework.

He places his hand on my waist and I take in a deep breathe sliding my hand on his head.

I look into LaMelo's eyes and he looks into mine. We both slowly start to lean forward and our lips meet.

After a few seconds, LaMelo and I pull away from the kiss.
