The marketplace was crowded when Will and Kelsie finally arrived. Kelsie smiled; she loved being around people, watching them experience their lives. Will grabbed her hand and tugged her forward into a gap in the crowd.
'Come on. I'll taking you with me to buy fruit. We don't have any left.' Will said.
The stall they stopped in front off was old and looked as as if it may fall down at any moment. The shelves were packed with fruit, of all shapes and sizes, and they reached quite a way down the dock. The old woman who ran the stall glanced up at them with curious eyes.
'Well aren't you two a lovely couple? What would you like to buy from me today?' She asked Will.
A slight blush graced Kelsie's face and she moved to pick up some apples from where they stood on the fruit stand. Will began to protest against the woman's statement, causing her to raise an eyebrow at him.
'Really? Well then, you don't want to let a girl like that go. She's a special one, she is.'
'That she is. I'm glad I met her.' Will replied, glancing over at Kelsie (who was now putting the apples in the basket.)
'Kelsie! Bring the apples over here! I'll buy them and we can go.'
Kelsie placed the basket on the counter, watching as Will paid for the apples (after all she had never quite grasped the concept of money.)
After he'd paid for the apples he placed her hand in his once more. However moments after he'd done this Kelsie dragged him away from the food stalls. Thankfully he was able to keep hold of the baskets handles.
Back at the fruit stall the woman watched the pair, with a smile on her face. They were a special pair of people indeed, she could the world wouldn't be to cruel to them.
