Olive found herself lost in her thoughts as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. She sighed and nervously ran her fingers in her long brown hair.
She had always been an anxious kind of girl, affected by every little thing around her. She was anxious in that moment as well. She had found herself thinking about how that Matt guy actually meant to her.
She was scared, mostly. She couldn't stop the feelings for that stranger guy. She was afraid that she might've been catfished. He never asked her for a picture, or never even sent a picture of himself. She hadn't even ever heard his voice, or anything that could assure her he was actually who he claimed he was.
Her phone buzzed, a buzz that lasted more than just a text notification. She glanced down at the object and froze in fear. Her heart had lost it and almost pumped out of her chest, her stomach turned upside down as butterflies rushed into each other and her organs.
[Matt🐄 is calling] [Accept]
《Olive?》a raspy deep voice asked.
She breathed out softly against her phone, tears of fear already pouring down.
《H-hey, um--》
《It's so good to finally being able to call you》he chuckled softly.
《I, um--》
《It's okay, I'll talk》he assured sweetly,《Nothing too important, really. I was just being paranoid and all so I thought I would call you》
《I, um, so you're like.. real》
《I am》he laughed, and that sound filled her heart assuring her.
《I'm so glad. I mean, I--》
《I am too, really》he spoke. She imagined he smiled at that point, as she found herself smiling like a fool too.
《WHO YOU TALKING TO??》Olive heard some guy yell behind Matt.
《Olive》he answered with a very soft glimpse of chuckle.
《TELL HER I SAY HI! THIS IS HAPPENING! MY SHIP IS HAPPENING! ARE YOU BLUSHING??》the other voice yelled.
She blushed and looked down,《Let me guess, Harry guy》
《The one and only》
《He's nice, I like him》she grinned, finally starting to feel a little bit calmer at that point.
