AN: This will take place in the first week Lennon was kidnapped just so everyone doesn't get confused!

Parker.

I groan in pain and let my eyes flutter open. A sob of relief escapes into the silence of the room.

"Parker?" I hear my mom's voice and wiggle my fingers.

"Mom?" I croak.

"Oh, honey! I thought you were dead and Henry kept telling me you just got shot in the arm and that you would be fine. And I tried smacking you awake or dumping water on you but the doctor told me not to and when I did try I was banned from the hospital! But I climbed through the windo-" my mom's voice is cut off by Henry, my dad.

"Hun, it was hard enough getting you through the window. We don't need you attracting attention. Now quit wailing and calm down. He was asleep for two days not in a coma for three years," my dad snaps half annoyed half amused.

I laugh and open up an eye to see my mom dressed in all black and my father in casual clothing. Of course, my mom, the drama queen, is in all black in broad daylight and sticks out like a flower sprouting from the snow in winter.

"Oh, my baby," my mom sniffles and rushes over to me when I open both eyes.

"How are you feeling, son?" my dad asks as he walks over to me at a slow pace.

"Good, my arm hurts like a bitc-bird. It hurts like a bird," I correct myself when my mom gives me a scowl.

"I'll call in the doctor," my dad says but before he can go anywhere the door clicks open.

"Hey did Parker wake u- ma'am, I thought I banned you,” the doctor sighs when his eyes land on my mom.

"I know, but... he's my baby," she runs her fingers through my hair sympathetically.

"Just let her stay," I smile and lift my uninjured arm up and pat her hand.

"Oh you're up. Hi, Doctor Fischer," he greets and smiles at me.

"Hi," I croak.

"How are you feeling?" he smiles.

"Okay, I guess. Where's Lennon?" I ask worried.

"Oh, honey," my mom break down in sobs again and I sit up.

"Son, we don't know," my father tells me and I sit up as much as possible. High on alert.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"We don't know," my mom sobs clinging on to my hospital gown sleeve.
