We learned how to speak as children, so why are we learning to speak all over again.
I hate poetry. It's our desperate attempt to speak our heart and mind-- break a boundary of silence between our pain and happiness and leave it behind.
I hate poetry. It all sounds the same, just with synonyms and intricate imagery. But our own distinct pride, our own unique misery.
I hate poetry, so I write poetry.
If that sounds contradictory, that's because it is.
