Background History: at the age of 6 Kasumi became an orphan, along with her older sister Konan, 8 years old, when them and their parents were attacked by gang members due to her dad owing money to them. Their mom and dad were killed. After living in an orphanage for 5 years (Kasumi now 11 and Konan now 13 years old), they were adopted, along with two other boys. One called Nagato and the other called Yohiko, both are the same age as Konan. The family consisteing of the mom, dad, Kasumi, Konan, Yohiko, and Nagato all moved to Konaha City. Three years later (Kasumi now 14 and Konan now 16), the dad died of cancer. A year later, the mom died after hanging herself.
