I am dedicating this book to my laptop because it has gone with me to the darndest of places while I attempted to write in peace.
It was with me in the bathroom at two a.m. or in the living room on my couch in the pitch black as I tapped harshly on its keys in order to produce a story that I was determined to finish before writer's block took me.
I also want to dedicate this story to the child/teenage me who used to make up elaborate stories to either act out with my Barbie's or to write down in notebooks.
I used to dream of writing and being published and now here I am.
I also want to thank Penny Jordan for her romance story that hooked me on books for life.
I was thirteen when I first read one of her works and I was enthralled by the strength and charm of her hero and the determination and fragility of her heroine.
I have never read anything but romance since and I am a Harlequin Presents junkie to this day.
