The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is said to behaunted by numerous celebrity ghosts. It was the home of the first ever Academy Awards, and having such a firm place in the entertainment industry has apparently caused ghosts of beloved celebrities to flock there. Some of the more popular ghostly encounters include Marilyn Monroe and Montgomery Clift, and although they appear friendly, a lot of other strange circumstances have spooked quite a lot of people.
