There could be worse ways to die. On October 31, 1976, childhood sweethearts Rand Garrett and Nancy Jeanson decided to do something bold. In Griffith Park, the couple couldn't stop themselves and started to have sex on top of one of the picnic tables. Without warning, a tree fell on top of them and they were both killed. Their ashes were scattered on the very table where they died and you can still find that picnic table in the park. Even so many years after the accident, there are still reports around the anniversary of their deaths of people claiming they saw the spirits of the doomed lovers wandering around the area.
