You slam your gear on the roof and let the tears flow free, he hasn't changed...he's still the same, the same Mercury you loved...the same mercury you love
"Oh have mercy on a poor girl's weeping heart," you say half sarcastically into nothing.
It's around 12:00 am now, half an hour after you saw Mercury who was presumably with Emerald... he hasn't left your mind since then, you try shaking away the thoughts but to no avail, you came up with the ingenious idea to go see Mercury. Hopping down from your station you head down the memorised path to his apartment, hoping he still lives there.
12:30 AM
Mercury P.O.V
1 hour...ive been thinking about her for an hour, I messed up. I would do anything for her again...y/n the love of my life, once I find you again, I promise I will never let you go. Just as I finished that thought, there was a rough knock at the door, mildly frightened at the sudden interruption I make my way to the door to be met with a girl in A/c (armour choice) her W/c dangling next to her, her h/l h/c dangling over her face... it was Y/n before I could open my mouth to open anything, I felt a soft pair of lips set on mine, slightly taken aback I gently melt into the kiss, it lasted a good 5 seconds but it honestly felt forever
"Y/n...I'm so, so sorry. I regret everything, I wish I could have stopped her I really d-"I was cut off by a finger pressed to my lips
"Shut up you goof, I'm here for a reason, I missed you. you never left my mind, I changed all of myself to get you out but nothing worked, I'm here cause I know that...that.."
"That, what?" I questioned
"That I do love you, I always will and nothing can change that"
"I love you too, Y/n...forever and always"
