"You're such an idiot, Carl, you know that right?" You tell him in a stern voice as you tug at the braids in his hair.
"Yeah, I gathered from the past ten times you told me." He retorted. You sighed, letting go of his hair as you finished and turned him to face you.
"I was really worried about you." You spoke softly.
"I know Y/N, I'm sorry for being such a dick all that time." His said, genuine guilt in his eyes as his voice was just sad.
You shook your head, the corner of your mouth twitching a little into a smile, just a little, "I love you."
"I love you too." He replied, neither of you being able to say anything, not needing to say anything else.
