The Red Lady

As the moon flew into morning in the faded sky

There cradled in her arms was her little lie

A child born in the evening, long before the fall

Guards sent to meet her at the night of her call

"See to my heart, she shan't make it this long."

"See to my heart, her blood spills at the dong."

Then came men of fifty armed in their helm

A demon cast in the sunrise, she fled from the realm

Be a storm raged at the sea shore, the babe to a few

Her eyes bled as they sailed on, only red in her view

"Bared a life pure as the white cloak, tears of ice."

"Let the lady be remembered, as the queen without price."
