I sat down at my chair and began to write on my test paper. After few months with Lapis I finally felt happy apart from the avocados I ate this morning.
Then I heard my cellphone ring. I was almost finished with my exam so I hurried it up and went outside to talk.
"Hello?''I asked "Hi son!"My father said through the line "What do you want dad?''I asked leaning on the wall. "Im gonna send you to a military collage school"He said.
My eyes widen"YOU CANT DO THAT I HAVE A RUNNING SCHOLARSHIP AT MOUNTAIN HIGH UNIVERSITY!"I said angrily. "I know but I want you to join the military and in that school you'll also learn math and the other subjects you'll also use your running scholarship in the school''He said I clenched my teeth and growled.
"You dont own my life"I said "Technically I made you so I own your life"My dad said. "You cant do that I have a girlfriend and I make my own choices!"I said. He growled "Listen to my Jr. If you want to succeed like me you better join the military!"My father said"Your going there whenever you like it or not"My father said"Cant we make a deal?"I asked. There was silence before he said
"im gonna send a pupil there if he cannot beat you stay at Mountain high university if not you go to military school and break up with your girlfriend the race starts tomorrow"He said "Im sorry I got a dad like you''I said before he hanging up.
I growled and threw my phone at the wall I dont care if it broke. I went inside and passed my paper the bell rang. I went out and hid in my secret place. I sat down and hugged my knee "What am I gonna tell Lapis?"I thought.
''Peridot you there?"Lapis asked as she saw me. "Yes"I said as she sat down beside me "What's wrong you got good grades"She said. "It's not that my sad is sending me to a military school and I made a deal with him if I dont win he'll send me there and ill break up with you"He said.
"Don't worry you can beat him"Lapis said. "Promise?"She said "Promise"I said "Now let's train"
