Chapter 8: Feels Like Tour

Catarina's POV: 

A week later and I still can't believe Airplane Dude is going on tour with my bestfriend. What happens if he notices me? What if he remembers our conversation? Gosh, I can't stop thinking about those beautiful brown eyes.. His curly hair.. Those lips. Damn, I hardly know the dude and I'm over here daydreaming about him. What the hell has gotten into me? I have Bruno.. But.. A part of me feels like he's doing some hoe shit again. I swear.. If I find out he's playing my heart again. It's going to be hell on Earth.

*Phone vibrates*

Text from Trinidad: Hey Love, I just wanted to let you know the setlist for tonight's show.. Well, at least what Alex is playing. Yes, we're going to be backstage a lot but we're also going to be in the crowd along with Alex's family. So try not to look TOO SEXY. 

Me: I'm not going to look sexy for him lol. I'm there for you duh. But okay, I've been pumped up for your set. I love how you put your heart and dedication into your music. I'm so proud of you Trini. 

Trinidad: I love you so much Catarina. Thank you for always supporting me and believing in me. You're truly the definition of a REAL bestfriend.  I'll send Alex's setlist right now.

I honestly never felt so nervous over a show that isn't Bruno's. This guy Alex seems like a good person, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have problems with him. Why would I have problems with someone so attractive anyway? Oh shit. Let me stop.. I have a boyfriend. Ugh, this day is going to be hell.

*Call from Trinidad comes through*

"Yes Trinidad?"

"I got a car coming for you, be ready in a hour okay Love?" He said.

"Alright, sounds good. I'm excited to see your first performance!" I squeal.

"Haha, foreal though. I'm excited but my nerves are a freakin' mess at this point. But I gotta go. Soundcheck."

"Okay Trini, love you. And remember.. Relax." I say while my finger was over the red button to end the call.

Now it's time I get ready. I'm so excited and my stomach is tied in knots because I keep thinking about Alex even though I shouldn't. I want to get his attention but then again, I don't want to. Ugh, this is frustrating.

I begin to set up my makeup, grab a drink, and start playing music from Trinidad. I was jamming out until one of Alex's songs played next on Spotify.. "Killer".

I started dancing in my vanity chair while I do my makeup and then I realized I should listen to more songs by Alex so I can get a taste of what I'll be listening to tonight but it's going to be so much better since Alex will be in the same room with me and singing these songs.

An hour passes by and an alert on my phone notifies me that the car Trinidad sent for me was parked outside Bruno's mansion. I quickly put on a soft matte nude lip cream then I combed out my hair with my fingers. Before I head out the door, I take one last look in the mirror and questioned if my outfit was TOO SEXY like Trinidad said. 

"Eh, F*ck it. I look good." I laughed while walking out the door.
