I knocked on William's door rapidly, sniffling. What happened to my best friend? The hyper, happy and sweet boy...he wasn't there anymore. I wiped my eyes, trying to vanish the thoughts of that horrible person out of my mind.

After a few minutes, the door opened. William's eyes met mine, concern filling his features. He moved out of the way so I could come in. He closed the wooden frame, standing close to me. He looked worried, afraid.

"What happened, beautiful?" He asked, caressing my cheek. I whimpered, leaning into his touch. I felt safe here, I never wanted to leave his side. Not even noticing, he picked me up bridal style, walking up the stairs into his room. After he closed the door, William set me on his comfortable bed.

"Willow, h-he's...something's wrong with him!" I blurted, tears streaming down my face. He instantly wiped them away, sitting next to me.

"What do you mean?" He asked, taking my hand in his.

"He's smoking, doing drugs..I went to visit him and when he opened the door he looked different. Willow isn't himself anymore...h-he.." I trailed off, sniffling. I couldn't say it, what if he didn't believe me? What if he thought I was crazy! I didn't need this.

"You can tell me anything, love." I looked up at him, a small smile placing his lips as he looked back.

"He tried raping me, but I got away before he could and c-came here.." I told him, never looking away from his eyes. He pulled me onto his lap, kissing my forehead.

"I'll never let him touch you again." He whispered against my skin. I sighed in relief, closing my eyes. William's finger lifted my chin, slowly. I didn't know what was happening until his perfect lips met mine. I didn't hesitate to kiss back, because I've wanted this for a while. His kiss was much more gentle than Willow's has been.

When he pulled away, he laid my body down on his bed. He pecked my lips one last time, smiling softly.

"Stay here, baby. I'll be right back, okay?" He told me. I nodded, biting my lip as he walked out of his bedroom, closing the door behind him.
