What Just Happened?

Head Cheerleader

I just finished my cheer tryout and we are waiting to hear who the head cheerleader is. I am super nervous because I'm doing this to prove a point. If I'm not the head cheerleader I wont have proved my point.

"Ladies we have come to a decision." The coach says

"This is it." Emma squeezes my hand

"First I will read off the Jv team. Heather B, Heather C, Alexa D, James C, Jordan W, Jasmine W, Lexi S, Lila H, Lillian W, Cameron C, Lucas W, Carson L, Carmen M, Olivia A, Ava Z, Sophia S, Isabella K, Mia M, Charlotte K, Abby L, Harper N, Emily G and the team captian is Evelyn F. Next Varsity, Emma S, Alexis S, Amelia J, Elizabeth K, Aiden H, Madison S, Avery C, Ella H, Scarlet P, Brain B, Grace Q, Chloe O, Charles G, Victoria R, Riley T, Aria Z, Lily V, Aubrey R, Zoey J, Connor D, Penelope X, Camila N, Leah A, and the team captain is Cali R." The coach speaks

Oh my gosh I'm the team Captain and Alexis was the only freshman to make Varsity! I am so happy right now!

"Excuse me coach I think you made a mistake. I was supposed to be Captain this year like last year." Lily states

"Yes, I'm sure we all thought you would be team captain. However Cali deserves it her routine and her movements looked better throughout the whole tryout week. You are really good and I hope you will continue cheering because you are a great part of this team." Coach smiles

"This is complete bull, shes not even pretty." Lily whines

"Im sorry you feel that way about me. You are really good at cheerleading though so I do hope we can be civil. You dont have to like me but I do ask you respect me because we will be on the same team." I chirp in

"See look at that winner attitude. This is why you will make a great team captain." Coach says excited

"Thanks coach I am so honored to be team captain as well as on the team." I smile

"Okay so everyone is released practice starts next week. Except for Cali and Evelyn you will have practice with me everyday. One hour before school and two after. We need to go over all the routines and make new ones as well. Basically we need you guys to be perfect by the time practice actually starts so you can help your teammates with the routines." Coach tells us

"Sounds great." Evelyn smiles

"You got it coach." I agree

Emma says she will wait for me in the car since I'm not quite ready to go yet. I want to introduce myself to Evelyn since we will be spending a lot of time together. I walk up to Evelyn, shes a super innocent looking freshman. She has black wavy hair and emerald green eyes, she is super beautiful in a natural way.

"Hi, I'm Cali I figured I should come introduce myself since we will be practicing together alot. by the way you are an amazing cheerleader!" I introduce

"Oh my gosh, hi, I'm Evelyn. You were so good and I don't care what Lily says you are so pretty. Thanks for coming and introducing yourself that was so nice." she says

"Oh no problem, here let me give you my number, if you ever need anything like a ride to practice or school or something let me know Id be happy to take you. Anyways I have to go my friend is waiting for me but it was great meeting you!" I smile

"Thank you so much you are so nice, and okay bye see you later." She waves

I walk out to the car where Emma and Alexis are waiting for me. As soon as I get to the car they start doing these weird happy dances. So what do I do? I of course do a super weird embarrasing happy dance as well.

"Where do you wanna go?" Emma asks

"What about all you can eat buffet with the boys?" I ask

"Okay I will drive you invite the boys, and Alexis you can invite your boyfriend. Do I need to pick him up?" Emma asks

"Yes please!" Alexis squels
