Conor POV
We picked the nicest venue after looking at three of them I really can't wait for this wedding but me and Evie was at lunch and she had a salad but slowly ate it I had finished all mine and she had half left something off about her and she was texting someone and she put her phone down and looked at me
"What time you filming a cover"she said
"I dunno a certain time but it's tonight"I said
"Oh well I have a meeting tonight about my modelling then I'm off to jacks to film"she said I nodded...when will she understand honestly we had a conversation this morning about her life and my life and then our life together I sighed
"I'm full"she said I nodded and she insisted on paying since I payed for half the venue today and we got up and left
Back at the apartment...
I was sat downstairs on the sofa on my phone and Evie was upstairs and I wanted to see what she doing and have a talk with her so I went upstairs and she was touching up her makeup on the bed
"Hay"I said and she put a her makeup away and looked at me
"What's up?"she questioned me I think she could tell I wanted to talk to her
"I want to know if you can do all there's wedding plans next week instead of going to events and photoshoots or another contrary probably"I said
"I gonna talk to them at the meeting tonight and that's over like a coffee at the place I went to the first time"she said
"You just going to say okay to whatever they say or are you going to stand your ground"I asked her
"I don't know Gorgeous it's too much pressure and you telling me your not mad at me but it sounds like you are!"she snapped at me I could tell she was panicked
"I'm not mad at you...like come here"I said and she laid next to me on the bed
"I just want us time because I thought everyone in our way has gone like your ex and your brother but now it's your manger"I said
"But like that's my job Conor...I mean if he yells at me and fired me I'm back to square one trying to become a model and that was ages ago!"she said I mean she had a fair point but there a line between work and things outside of work
"But you modelling taking over your life Evie...my singing isn't"I said she sighed
"That's because your manger isn't just a manger he your friend you can work out hours with him and your covers the people you work with you can work around...but my manger isn't a friend he my manger"she explained and got up and walked off
"I'm leaving early..."she shouted at me and grabbed everything and the door shut
"Fuck sakes!"I sighed out loud and I checked my phone and 20 minuets ago I got a text
William singe:I've set up the mic and the beat for the music all we need to do is recorded and film
To William singe:I'll be over in half and hour
I grabbed my rucksack with my laptop and everything in it just in case I needed it and grabbed my car keys and left the house
Evie PoV
At the dinner with my manger...I'm so nervous he so intimidating he sat down and got some sheets out and looked at me
"I'm glad you insisted to talk because we do need to talk about this amazing YouTube singer...pop star or whatever he is of a fiancée Because first of all I never heard of Conor Maynard until you told me"he started to say
"Then I did my research him up and understood how well known and good singer he is...which is good for publicity-"I cut him off
"But he not for publicity...he my fiancée before I started working for you but you need to understand there a line of work and working with him"I explained
"Did you just talk back?"he asked I froze and shook my head
"And now your acting all innocent with your sweet eyes shaking your head...because that's not how it works around here"he said
"Can you please just understand I've planned stuff can I just work through hours...anything because I've got these wedding plans"I said almost begging
"This wouldn't be an issue if you was single...because you see like Kendall Jenner for instance and look at her success"he said
"But..."I said but trailed off
"But what?"he said kid is smirking because he had defected me really in this disagreement then it was silent for a while as we sipped our coffee I had a latte
"Look...I normally just fire people for arguing with me but to be honest you have true talent so will work through your hours but that doesn't mean I like you fiancée he making things difficult for me"he said my face lit up a little
"Okay...I really appreciate it"I said with a glowing smile
"Good now...I'll get the bill"he said and asked for the bill
"I'll pay as a thank you"I said getting my money out and as the bill came I put the right amount money and we walked out the restaurant/cafe place he hugged me
"Bye my lovely I'll give you a call"he said and walked off and it was raining and I put my hood up and walked quickly to my car and drove to jacks I saw the time and it was 9:00 pm then a text came through from jack a few hours ago and one from conor from half an hour ago
Jack:Hay sorry film tomorrow or something I've gone out with josh joe and Mikey x
To jack:okay, no problem x
Conor❤️:Hay I'll be home kinda late...I'm talking 11:30 probably xxx
To conor❤️:I'll be asleep probably xxx
I am pretty tired so once conor gets in I'll be asleep or in bed at least as I drove home listening to a bit of some old Conor Maynard covers the rain bounced on my window as the traffic lights glowed in my face hearing the London streets full of cars and police cars and drunk people around this time it becomes London night life full of drunk and police officers around...I just wanna go to sleep
Midnight
It's 12 at night and I cannot sleep the thunder and the poring rain kept me awake and conor has not come home yet and then I hear the door open and I loud sigh of tiredness that I knew was conor as I hear him chuck his keys on the counter and come upstairs I turned and he was wasn't socked his hair was fine and everything but his leather jacket looked it been rained on hard he acknowledged that I was awake but he didn't say anything until he got out of his clothes and was in his boxers
"Come here Baby "He said then I nuzzle my head into his chest as thunder and rain tuned into hail stones I cuddled closer to him and he kissed me lightly on my temples and he hummed a small tune
"I can't sleep"I mumbled into his chest he moved me so our eyes connected
"How long you been in trying to sleep for"He asked
"Since half 10i think the thunder and rain is keeping me up and then waiting for you to come home"I said
"Well I'm here now but I don't think I have the power to stop this rain That's now hail and the thunder but William singe and I cover has just gone up on his channel..wanna hear it?"He asked I nodded he got his phone out and went on his YouTube page and clicked on it
