I put on a plastic face
Convinced myself I loved myself too
What a big mistake it was
Wound up falling in love with you
Fell right down into your smile
You loved what you thought was true
But it was just a mask you saw
The falseness in my words fooled you
Maybe you thought you had love
But there's an issue- you never did
Got my share of what I wanted
You were left empty-handed
