Nightmares.
I had nightmares about you,
An occasional jolt
The standard Friday routine.Your lips on his, his hands on something
He'll never have.Daydreams.
I would daydream about you
Because you were my dream come true
The perfect answer to my problemsUntil you were my nightmare
Until you caused my pain.Visions.
I would blink,
Shake myself to reality,
Turn my music up all the way.Call myself insane
I probably was
I probably amHorror.
You are my own horror story
Wrapped in lace
Soaked in selfishnessTurning your pages and hoping for more
But I've purchased an empty book
