Narutos POV
"Hey, Kurama."
"Yes, kit?"
"The chunin exams are coming up I want to participate in them."
"OK kit I will tell the others and then we will pack. How about we move back to Konoha?"
Kurama asks me. I nod my head.
"Guys wake up we are packing and going to Konoha."
I say as the foxes wake up.
Weeks after travelling
Minato's POV
It has been almost a year now and the Chunin exams are here again. I look down at the paperwork on my desk. I yell in frustration and push the papers off my desk. Just then Kushina comes in.
"Are you alright hun?"
She asks me picking up the papers.
"No it has been almost a year since Naruto left and the Anbu can't find him."
I say as tears roll down my cheeks and catch a glimpse of Kushina rolling her eyes.
Narutos POV
We all get to the gates. The nine tails family is with me. The guards let us in.
"Kurama me and you are going to sign in with the Hokage. The rest of you can come with us if you want."
They all follow us. I knock on the door to the Hokage's office.
"Come in!"
He yells. I walk in and Kurama jumps on my shoulder while the other foxes surround me.
"Naruto?"
Minato asks with joy in his voice. I nod my head and Minato gets up to come hug me but the foxes back him up.
"Lord Fourth I am here to participate in the chunin exams."
I say coldly. Minato looks pained as I say lord fourth.
"You can call me Minato."
He says sadly. Just then the door opens and Kushina comes rushing towards me crying. I jump out of the way and then glare at her.
"Mommy are you alright?"
I hear a voice. I turn around and spot Niko.
"Brother!"
She calls out and runs towards me. The foxes get in her way and she starts to cry.
"Lord Fourth can I speak to you for a minute."
Somebody says then looks at me and gasps.
"The monster's back!"
They yell and I teleport in front of them and grab them by the neck.
"Yeah your right, the monster is back and is ready for revenge."
I say and throw the villager at Minato.
"L-lord fourth deal with this monster."
The villager says.
"What are you gonna do Lord Fourth?"
I asked glaring at him.
"Turn your back on your son again or on one villager?!"
I yell.
"Kit calm down."
Kurama tells me. Minato looks at me then at the villager.
"Sakura don't speak to my son like he is a monster."
Minato says and I glare at Sakura.
"Well looks like even my old teammate thinks I'm a monster."
I say coldly. By now she is shaking.
"Get out of here pinkie."
I say and she glares at me. She goes to punch me but I grab her arm.
"Wrong move bitch."
I say and throw her out of the window. I jump down to her and she is bleeding quite badly. Minato jumps down as well.
"Lord Fourth deal with this monster!"
She yells and punches me in the stomach. I growl as my eyes turn into Kurama.
"Everyone get back!"
Kushina yells as Kurama appears.
"Villager you have disrespected Naruto and now it is time to pay the price!"
Kurama yells.
Minato's POV
"Kyuubi please she didn't mean it!"
I yell at him. He growls at me.
"Fourth you are turning out to be worthless of Narutos forgiveness!"
The Kyuubi yells to me. I bow my head then look at the Kyuubi with tears in my eyes.
"Kyuubi you are right. I am worthless of my son's forgiveness. I truly am sorry for how I treated him. You and Naruto have full right to hate me and even destroy the village but I am begging you, Kyuubi please help me make it right between me and Naruto."
I say getting on my knees. The Kyuubi looks at Sakura then at me.
"Alright Fourth but under one condition."
Kyuubi says.
"I and my family are treated like regular villagers and recognized as hero's for we have saved Naruto and this village more times then you can count and in return, we continue to help the village and have Naruto forgive you."
I look up at the Kyuubi. I bow my head.
"Is that all?"
I ask still crying.
"And if anyone disrespects my family or Naruto we have the right to decide what is to happen to the people who disrespect us."
I look up at the Kyuubi.
"OK."
I say and smile.
Narutos POV
I look at Sakura then at Minato. I walk up to him.
"Naruto I'm sorry I've been such a horrible father."
He says crying. Honestly, I can forgive him but not my mom. She has treated me the worst. All my dad did was ignore me and call me a brat. Mom hit me. I look at dad.
"I forgive you, dad."
I say and hug him. He looks at me surprised then hugs me back.
"I'm sorry."
He says again.
"It is OK all you ever did was ignore me and call me a brat. Mom actually hit me."
I say and he hugs me tighter.
"Good job kit you have grown so much."
Kurama says and I feel him smile. Minato wipes the tears away from my eyes. I didn't even realize I was crying.
