Seatbelts

At Karolina's place
"We have to send this to Alex" Karolina said as she and Molly were going down the stairs. "Send what to Alex?" Leslie Dean, asked closing the front door. Karolina and Molly stood there in shock. 

"An online puzzle. We both knew how much he would kill for a puzzle to solve, so we thought we'd send him one and see if he can solve it." Karolina said, thinking quickly. "I'm pretty sure he can anyway, he's a huge smarty-pants" Molly added with a smile. Leslie nodded her head in agreement, "That much is true, isn't it?"  She asked with a slight chuckle. 

"Yep, well. Me and Molls have to go catch up with Gert. She's upset about this 'Down with the patriarchy' thing, or whatever she called it. Bye mom, see you later" Karolina said as she grabbed Molly's hand and they both walked past her and opened the front door. Karolina and Molly both exited and closed the door behind, rushing down to Karolina's car. As they both got inside the car, they both just looked at each other with a sigh of relief. "That was really close" Molly said closing her door. "Yep, let's go get this to Alex right away" Karolina said closing her door. She started up her car and placed on her seatbelt as well did Molly, then she drove off from her driveway and on to the road, to Alex. 

At Nico's place
"

Let's go check up on the kids" Catherine said standing up from the couch with Tina doing the same. "Uhh...They're coming, we have to do something" Gert said , internally losing her mind. "Wizey off" Nico said quickly after she saw her mother and Alex's mom leave the living room. "I've got an idea, Gert you...um go right there....Nico right over....there" Alex said as he had Gert lay down on the floor with a book in her hand, Nico on her bed with Alex with textbooks and homework on the bed. 

The door slowly swung opened, the two popped there head outs and Tina spoke, "Is everything alright in here?". Gert, Nico, and Alex looked at each other nervously. "Wow guys, what? 'Knocking' doesn't exist in your vocabulary anymore? What if we were all..having an orgy or something?" Nico said with an innocent shrug, trying to not cause any suspicion. Gert shook her head and buried herself in her book, trying to laugh. Tina and Catherine just stood there, surprised at Nico's comment, but not really because well....she's Nico. 

"O-Okay then..well um, I'll be going home now. Alex, hun, will you be joining your father and I for Dinner?" Catherine had asked him.  Alex nodded and said a goodbye to her and went back to "homework" with Nico and Gert with her book. And finally, Tina and Catherine both had walked out of Nico's dark and emo room and had closed the door behind them. Alex had gotten a text from Karolina saying that they'd probably found something important and they need him unlock that file. "Guys, we all have to go catch up with Karolina and Molly at the park" Alex said to Nico and Gert as he got out of Nico's bed and grabbed his things.

 Nico and Gert grabbed their stuff too, and followed Alex outside the car. As everyone got inside and put on their seatbelts, Alex drove out of Nico's driveway and on to the road and on their way to the Park to meet up with Karolina and Molly.

At Chase's place
Victor had immediately started to find the parts to make Chase's design. He kind of remodeled it when started to draw it on his fancy laptop.  It was interesting to watch Victor and Chase somewhat helping each other out. It was nice, I guess. Suddenly, my phone started to ring, It was Alex trying to FaceTime me. Good news I hoped, I answered the call and saw Alex's worried face on the phone, as well as Nico's and Gert's. 

"Excuse me, but I have to take this" I said politely to Victor and then gave Chase a nod letting him know it was the others. I stepped outside of Victor's workshop and then looked back at them, "What's going on guys?" I semi-whispered to them. "You and Chase meet us at the Park-" Alex began to say before Gert interrupted him,  "NICO AND ALEX'S MOM KNOW ABOUT YOU!" Gert yelled from the backseat, "Shit, keep your voice down"  I said quietly as I looked behind me to see if Victor and Chase were still working on the arm thingy Chase designed for me. I turned down my phone a little bit after Gert had yelled. "Why are you whispering?"  Nico asked me, with a slight frown on her face...as usual. 

"Because, Victor is here....'generously' helping us out. He actually seems like a sweet guy, and Chase is helping him out as well, but-" I started to say but, yep you guessed it, Gert interrupted me, "Focus, Rae....our parents aren't the good guys, and besides Victor was probably going to beat Chase's beautiful ass if you weren't there.." She said as she began to fix her purple short hair. I rolled my eyes with a passion,  "Okay, we'll meet up with you guys later. As soon as possible that is" I said nervously as I looked behind me to see Chase telling me to hurry up before his dad gets too suspicious. "Be safe, okay?" Alex said with a deeply concerned look on his face, one I have never seen before really. Even Gert gave him a look too, and Nico...well she was just looking out the window not paying attention, but I think she was.  "I will, I promise" I said with a smile as I ended the call and hurried on back to Chase and his father. 

"Sorry for my absence sir, the call was very important" I said, sounding as if I was really mature, which I'm not honestly. "No it's fine, is all well at least?" Victor asked me, as he then started to put a few pieces together. "Yes sir, all is very well" I replied back to him, giving Chase a look of doubt. " Good, good. Well, I'll be right back. I have to go retrieve some more parts from the store, make sure Chase here doesn't ruin anything" Victor said jokingly, but I wasn't so sure if he was actually joking or not, to play it off, I just made a small laugh looking at Chase and then back at him, "I'll make sure of that" I said to him as he began to walk towards one of his expensive cars and had gotten inside. He put on his seatbelt and pressed the button to the garage and then drove off. 

"Okay, we have to go now. And it turns out....Tina Minoru knows about me, as well as Alex's mother" I said, sounding a bit muffled at the last part, I then started walking out Victor's workshop, before Chase could say anything really, but..."Wait what? How's that possible" Chase asked worriedly, jogging after me with his phone in his hand. He placed his other hand on my shoulder and noticed that a tear had ran down my face. "Hey, it's going to be fine, we aren't going  to-" "You guys aren't going to let them do what? Hurt me? Well, they already did. And none of this is going to be fine, because not only does the most intimidating human being in the world knows about me, but her bestie knows too and they all know how to bend the rules to get what they want" I said cutting Chase off, the teardrop had hit my bottom lip as I spoke and more just came traveling down, like a waterfall. "I'm a goner...I'm done for Chase. They know and they're probably already thinking of this masterplan to deal with me" I said to him, as he gave me a hug, with a saddened look on his face. "We'll figure something out...And besides we have our personal little nerd-geek to help us out with this" Chase said with a chuckle. "Yea,,Alex is a nerd-geek isn't he?" I said as I pulled away from the hug wiping away my tears.

Chase and I left the garage and went outside his house to a Lift, Chase had called earlier. We both got inside the car and placed on our seatbelts. "You know where to go right?" Chase asked the Lift Driver. He nodded and began to drive off to the park where we would meet the others at.
