Her fingers slipped slightly on the rock she was gripping. That was bad, considering that she was dangling several hundred feet rocky canyon. Falling to her death would be the least dignified to go.

A curse beneath her attracted her attention, and she glanced down. Two of her troops were also dangling - evidently they had also fallen when she had and had managed to ttach themselves to the cliff face with their cable guns.

"Can you two climb back up?" She called across.

"Yes General." One trooper - Mitch - replied, shouting to be heard above the whistling wind "The wind isn't strong enough to stop us, Sir."

She nodded to acknowledge the response, before returning her concentration to her own predicament. Closing her eyes, she allowed her mind to quiet itself as she focused the Force. Slowly, she drifted away from the cliff face, upwards through the air despite the strength of fierce winds, landing on the ridge she'd originally fallen from in a small cloud of dust.

"General Secura!" Commander Gree seemed surprised, but pleased to see her.

She decided to look as unbothered as she physically could, knowing it was something that often wound Gree up. "Everything is fine." She told him, a tiny smirk twitching at the corners of her lips.

Gree looked as if he was going to argue with her, but was quickly distracted by the chaos of the other troopers returning to the crumbly ledge they had been journeying along previously.

A couple of minutes later, the whole squad was on its way again -  this time paying more attention to any potential boulders falling off the top of the cliff than they done previously. After some minutes, Jedi Master General Aayla Secura ducked down behind a large rock as the party had obviously neared the end of the path.

Crouching down, she gestured to her squad, who did as she suggested - ducking down themselves and hurrying in close to where she was. They all nodded as she went over their plan once again, as they first checked, then loaded their weapons.

"Ready?"

"Ready Sir."

Aayla nodded, removing her lightsabers from her belt, a small thrill running through her body at the feeling of them in her hands. Sharing a brief nod of both respect and acknowledgement with all of her squad members, she took a brief moment to centre her mind before she leaped into the air, using the Force to extend her jump by a stunning amount, igniting both sabers as she flew through the air.

Within seconds, laser bolts flew at her from all angles. Trusting entirely in the Force, she blocked as many incoming bolts as she could, feeling the heat of the occasional bolt that drifted a slight amount too close for comfort. The Force was with her at that moment in time, she could feel it. Behind her, she could hear the shouts of her troopers as some of them celebrated getting shots on target while others gasped at blasts coming a little too close. From below, the mechanical shrieks of the droid armies as they realised that they were under attack.

Aayla landed directly on top of a heavily armoured automatic tank, the kind of weapon that could devastate an entire town in minutes.

"There's a Jedi!" She heard the panicked mechanical yelp from within.

Rolling her eyes, she plunged both sabers into the tank, sending it crumpling to the ground, releasing a cloud of smoke as she destroyed all of the major circuits easily. More fool them for making it so obvious where the systems are, she smirked inwardly.

Flipping effortlessly through the air, away from the explosion, she decapitated several droids before landing on a second tank, destroying that in equally quick fashion. The Force truly was with her - laser blasts seemed to miss her as if she had some kind of invisible shield bouncing them away from her already battle scarred being.
